Beautiful plants. The viewing tower is always a hit with the kids. I enjoy the risen pathways over the wetlands. You really get a sense of being surrounded by nature. Also the large plant fossil in the garden is a favorite of mine to inspect.

Back in (I believe) October, we had quite a bit of flooding in the area. Tenant and Hovander Parks, being so close to the river, had some major areas washed out that need repairs to get back to working order. I still take my dog on walks there and have talked to park employees who have no issue with me being there but, given that there are some areas that have been completely pitted or are just gone, it’s best to be on foot rather than a bike.
