I booked this for my daughter (8) and I during our week long trip through Texas. We ended up being the only ones on the ride. It was AMAZING. Truly a unique life experience. Hannah and Tony were so helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic they sparked a love for horses and horseback riding in us. They shared stories about the horses, their lives, and Bandera. We definitely will be returning to the area and asking for Nugget and Whiskey again :).

We stayed in the Longhorn cabin and it was great. On Saturday we did the Wild West day, the older kids went on a horseback ride while the younger ones stayed with me and rode a pony. Everyone was very accommodating and wonderful. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and hopefully return too!

A friend and I met in Bandera this past weekend. We did a Friday morning ride with Hannah and a Saturday sunset ride with Tom. Hannah and Tom were top-notch guides, the horses were well-behaved and sweet, and the scenery was spectacular. It was an incredible trip, and I'm looking forward to doing it again; for one thing, I haven't met Harriet yet, and every shopkeeper we met in Bandera knew her, so I'd definitely like to meet Harriet one of these days. Thank you, Bandera Historical Rides, for being the best part of a lovely weekend!

4/9/22. Another great trip at the state park for a three hour trip. World class service from Bandera Historical Rides! Wonderful, great, and an amazing experience from booking the ride package to the last second when saying our goodbyes. I highly recommend Bandera Historical Rides to any and all, whether you are a first timer or have 20 plus years of horseback riding experience. We have 24h online booking service, and can go out anytime you want as long as sun is up. We are available on the phone 8-6, and at pretty much anytime we are awake and able to take the phone :) for this week we are pretty fully booked. Have openings Friday 4pm
