I have been coming here as a patient since I was 10 years old. Wilkerson is one of the best doctors out there. Very knowledgeable and respectful. He knows his stuff. Unfortunately, now that he only handles certain patients I have to be seen by Shannon crowl the NP. I have been to her 3 times now and I am not impressed. No bed side mannor and she doesn’t care about what you’re saying. She has tried to put me on so much medicine that I don’t need. It’s scary the way this woman hands out meds. She tried to put me on beta blockers because my heart rate was too high but I told her I was trying to lose weight. I lost 20 pounds and my heart rate was so much better but she still wanted me to take them and when I refused I caught attitude. This last apportionment I told her how bad my anxiety had gotten so she wanted to do an EKG. She comes in and says “your ekg has some abnormalities just wait here while I talk to the doctor” so I’m left wondering for another 10 mins. She comes back in and says “it looks as if you maybe had a mini heart attack. The cardiologist will reach out to you in the next 3 weeks, until then take this nytrogliceron if you feel like you’re having a heart attack” I panicked and left to drive home. I was in such a bad panic I thought I was having a heart attack. I called the office back to see if I could speak to Wilkerson himself because I trust him. The receptionist called me back to tell me Wilkerson was “not very concerned with my ekg and he figured it was my acid reflex” so why in the world did this woman tell me what she did that has kept me in a panic attack since Monday! Why was I given nytrogliceron?? I have been to the ER 3 times since Monday because I’m in such a panic. I have had 3 EKGs 2 chest x rays and 2 different times I’ve had my enzymes checked to see if I’ve had a heart attack. All negative. Everything looks great! Every doctor said my EKG was perfect. Every single doctor has also told me to throw that nytrogliceron away. I do not need it. They were all extremely worried that she just handed that out as I was told it could hurt me if I didn’t actually need it. I’m doing my own investigation of this but I won’t be back to this office and I advise anyone who is seeing Shannon crow to stop seeing her. She is not knowledgeable and pushes meds that are not needed.

What matters is that my health issues have been improved after visiting. I can't recall any time when the doctors and staff did not do a solid job of answering my questions either over the phone or in-person. The only room for improvement is for the doctors, who have seemed a bit lax with their recommendations at times.

Dr Wilkerson and his staff are amazing ! My parents both attend his office and he is very much upfront, involved in the care of both. Never is to busy even though he has tons of patients to actually sit down face to face and answer questions we may have. Quick response from he and his staff Linda is amazing . Dr Wilkerson i Highly recommend
