An older campground with smaller paved sites however the sites themselves are reasonably generous in size. The camp hosts (Karen) take care of things and that makes for a great camping experience. A good value and likely to be a regular stay when I'm traveling in the area.

The campground is well maintained. All the roads are paved and there is a nice playground for children. The host was friendly and helpful with information on her top choices of campsites. The only down side of the place for me was the bathhouse. The men's side did not have a shower curtain and the door lock was broken. It was clean and stocked except there was no hand-soap (or a dispenser). If you're going there for the lake it's a pretty good camp. There are no hiking trails or sights to see other than the lake.

Love it here! Very nice and peaceful. Unlike other reviews,I haven't seen any roaches or had a problem with bugs. I sat outside in short pants until 9 p.m. and never had a problem. Didn't use bug spray either. I'm here in August of 2017. Beautiful scenery!!
