Great town camp site. $25. All spots have power. Water points scattered about. Good clean bathrooms with good hot showers. Lots of spots available here and only 8 other rvs the Friday night we stayed in July. Both pull through and back in sites. No skeeters. Lake next door, but campground is below the dam with no view of the lake. I would definitely stay again. Thanks to the city of Shelby for keeping this great campground going.

I was hoping to stay here and get a shower, but everything was locked up (April 22) and there wasn't even a port-a-pottie and not another soul, so I just parked it for a little while during a rainstorm. The cops drove by then some guy with a big blue truck came and knocked on my window and told me it was $25 to park there- even without any facilities for a little while. He was like sandpaper and salt rubbed in. Really, I couldn't see what you're paying for there so I left. There is a reservoir just north of the campground and a paved walking trail around it and through the last of the native vegetation in this part of Montana - access to which is free and you could probably park there for the night and at least have a pit toilet when everything is closed like this.

Clean park & bathrooms(not fancy but had fiberglass shower). Shower had hot water and good pressure! Large rvs have pull thru sites. Enjoyed walking on a dirt trail in the hills around campground. Lake small but had birds in it . We just stayed overnight and would stay again.

Loved the area, clean bathrooms, cell service, close into town, first come first serve, honor system pay, thick green grass, clean bathroom & showers that had hot water. **The worst part was NO MATTER where you pitch up a tent the sprinklers will catch it!! They came on around 3am & stayed on till 4:30am. My tent was soaked & I had to get up & move around twice & I got soaked! My blankets were wet, such a rude awakening!!*** 😒
