Made a reservation, was seated promptly. Nice friendly people. Meal was awesome, I had the ribeye, my husband had the prime rib. Both were tender and delicious.

Steak was great, perfectly cooked, and we were in and out within an hour! Must try the desserts! We took ours to go. My family is still trying to adapt to country life and this restaurant was a nice break from unpacking and cooking.

It has been 25 years since I've been here. Our service was fantastic. The Prime Rib was so lean and tender. The walleye was lightly breaded and very tasty as well. Save room for the black dirt dessert!

The food is good here, a little pricey, but good. It was worth the trip from Cedar Falls just for a change from the restaurants around here. Make sure you call ahead, cuz if you don't have a reservation and not there right when they open you may not get a seat. If you want a Cherry Pepsi, there are no free refills cuz they use grenadine from the bar. Also the drink glasses are tiny like the water glasses from Village Inn and if it's busy(like it usually is) you're going to have an empty drink more often than not. If you don't mind a road trip, paying a little more, and want good food, That Place Steak House is a good choice. We'll be going again.
