This used to be my favorite thrift store. Would score good with clothes for the family! Now everything is over priced for a thrift store. They want $150 for a used, stained, leather falling off the straps coach purse that could hold a wallet and a phone. They want $14.99 for a Victoria secret bra when it's that price in Victoria secrets during the semi annual. Kids toys. A lot of them you'll see for MAYBE a $1 cheaper than in the store.

The check out lanes were long. They didn't accept cash in the lanes that was open so they had to call the manager. That was at least another 5 minute wait. The cashier's weren't friendly st all. Some of the clothes were way over priced. The stuff is donated to help people out.You can't blame the price increase on inflation. Again it's all donations from people not for you to get rich off of their kindness and giving.

Clean , nice displays of furniture, household items and clothing. Prices are high on well known brands. I saw a Kate Spade purse priced @ $69.99. Well known jeans are all over the place in price. One pair of high end jeans was $25.99 . Same brand different size slightly different styling Much higher. They know most of the premium brands. There was a women's Ralph Lauren t-shirt that should not been put out for sale. It had a cluster of holes in the front towards the bottom.

Prices are low, but they know how much the items are worth. No more $5 cashmere sweaters, designer jeans for $8, and discount days at places like goodwill. MAJOR WARNING: Valley Thrift is the nastiest store (not just thrift) I have ever walked into. My partner and I walked in for 5 minutes and were hit by mild allergic reactions. It's packed with people, no ventilation, and everything is covered in dirt and grime. I highly recommend wearing a mask (next time we'll bring N95s) and gloves. It's pretty shady as well. You have to show your ID to purchase your items. When I asked why, they said they have issues with fraud. The whole atmosphere was uncomfortable and somewhat sad. No changing rooms but understandable when two employees told me they have issues with fraud and theft I will be returning, exclusively for the low prices and only for that

Yes they keep jacking up the prices more and more
🤗 My bad. I just wanted people to be aware that they definitely have bed bugs. 💯 Actually I do have a question.. Do they check through things that are donated to make sure they are not contaminated with bugs? I worked for a consignment shop that sold used things and we went through everything very careful and even sanitized big items. Do they do any of that to protect their customers from an infestation?
Everything we get Is donated. We do get a variety of those items.
