Ruppert Yorkville building is DEFECTIVE. There are metal pipes inside the walls that protect electric wires and these electric pipes perform as a "water drain" in case of water flood. What that means to you is that water flood upstairs will infiltrate into your unit through these electric pipes. You can get ELECTROCUTED if you touch water near electric plug on the floor. If there is a smoke generated from a unit, that smoke can spread throughout the building via these electric pipes. RY management knows and hides this "dirty secret" in order to maintain building value while residents are taking huge risks living in the building.
