I recently just found you can take ferry to go around Manhattan for only 2.75. Then I decided to give a try from Astoria to Wall Street. It was very smooth and made several stops. The only thing you need to notice is your MTA card is not applicable here, and you need to buy additional ticket from the vending machine

The most pleasant way to enjoy the view of NYC and cheaper than any tour, $2.75 per time.. carry your giid or drink to make it better. Ticket is not part of MTA city transportation, have to buy at their dispenser on port.. love the sensation.. It's mandatory to use this service 😊 if you don't use it, wel..you're silly

Much more pleasant experience than the subway - and for the same price! You can either buy tickets at the dock or download the app NYC Ferry. A short trip to 34th st.

A perfect gateway for city seeing from the water. Just spending $2.75 for one way to enjoy this beautiful view

From the MTA ferry FAQ, yes, in a carrier or with a muzzle: "Dogs, with the exception of trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are not permitted on NYC Ferry vessels unless they are in a pet carrier and/or muzzled."
It is on Vernon Blvd. north of 30th Dr., close to the Hallets Cove Playground. There is not a parking lot, but there is street parking available.
Yes, bikes are allowed..it's $1 extra ..the regular fare is $2.75, so its $3.75 total with a bike, one way
Link your credit card to the app for fast and easy purchases of the tickets. Otherwise, the machine at the terminal takes cash.
It's a separate service, so you need a separate ticket. They can be bought thru an app, at the terminal, or on the ferry
One way ride is $2.75 and you can buy tickets at the dock right before boarding or by using the nyc ferry application
They have a good site: https://www.ferry.nyc/routes-and-schedules/route/rockaway/
