My children actually go to this pediatrics unfortunately. The truth is, they NEVER pick up the phone. It's honestly unbelievable. We just moved to the area so I'll need to find another pediatric ASAP. Every time my children are sick I hope that I will have a better experience and I never do. My oldest son had to get blood work and I had to chase them constantly for the results. Things got so bad that I actually had to go to the doctors office myself to speak to someone since they never pick up their phone. Also you never know what doctor you're going to get. Even if they tell you you're going to meet with a specific doctor the next time that's hardly ever the case. I was really hesitant on writing this review, but really felt the need to warn other parents.

I set up an appt with Dr. Uma Duvvuri because all other locations did not have availability. My sister in law went to see Dr. Duvvuri a few years ago and warned me that she is rude. I went to my appointment anyways since I needed medication. I was tested for strep, Covid and flu. All tests were negative. Based on my symptoms a zPack would be most successful medication. Doctor refused to give me a prescription for it. She said just to use over the counter medications and said if I was in a week then come back. I explained that my body does not respond to the over the counter medication. She had the nerve to say that she has had lots of patients with the same symptoms and they take medication from over the counter. What works for one person doesn’t mean it will work for all people. I said the most successful medication is zPack and I further explained that she can look in my chart and see that I’ve been sick with these same exact symptoms several times this year alone and I always was given a zPack and I never had to return to the office for a follow up because the zPack works for me. I had to explain that I gave birth last year and ever since then, my immune system hasn’t been strong at all which resulted in me getting sick so frequently. Finally she agreed to give me the prescription. I went to the front desk to check out and to confirm that the doctor sent in the prescription. A gentleman said she didn’t send it in and usually it doesn’t take this long. I waited about 10 mins while he kept calling her, then she finally sent it in. I go to my pharmacy, and the prescription was never sent in. I tried getting in touch with the doctor office and then the gentleman said that he’s not sure what happened and he’d call the pharmacy. I tried calling him 45 mins later and he said that he had no luck with getting in touch with them and “was done with them” as in he didn’t want to continue trying with them. He then had the prescription sent over to a different pharmacy, and it wasn’t covered by insurance since this pharmacy was not in network so I had to spend more money out of pocket. I’m never going back to this office again.
