Queen Margherita Trattoria is not at all consistent. I tried their take out lunch for $14.95. The Pollo al vino bianco was ordinary and the veal parmigiana was tasty enough. So I ordered a half tray from their catering menu and brought it to a party. It was not good. It was rather quite terrible. The dish was floury, some chicken were undercooked and tough, and it had no flavor. Others at the party had negative comments about it and didn’t want to bring home any of the leftovers. My experience when I picked up the tray was quite horrible. The dish was not ready and I had to wait. It seemed their priority was serving the people dining in at the time, even though I placed my order days before. The server who helped me (slim, medium height, black hair, with big eyes) shrugged her shoulders when I asked when it would be ready. I had to tell her to go find out from the kitchen, like she didn’t know how to help an inquiring customer who had been waiting. When she finally brought out the 1/2 tray of piping hot chicken, it was just an aluminum tray that she expected me to carry out. I asked for a bag and she said they didn’t have bags. I had to ask for napkins to protect my hands so I can hold the hot tray as I carried it out to the car. The first time I ordered from them, they placed my food in a large brown paper bag, but not this time. Based on my experience, Queen Margherita is not such a reliable restaurant. I was really embarrassed at the party for ordering from their catering menu.

High quality food, attentive waitstaff and some live Italian crooning to go along with it. Everything was delicious. The tables must have been added by a Tetris record holder. Only complaint was the half hour wait with a reservation. Perhaps if they gave us some of that amazing table bread, we'd have been more patient.
