Positive: Easy to get to from Hwy 27. Handicaps parking. A cart for taking your luggage to your room. Negative: The first night 7/5/22, were put on the fourth floor in a handicap room. Ni way was the bath tub for a handicap person. the 2nd time, on the first floor. Had a walk in shower. Water went all over the floor. That can cause falls.

Positive: The staff was nice. The breakfast was reasonable for the class hotel. The beds were comfortable enough. While I do recommend this hotel...only if it's your last resort for the price. Negative: Our room one entire wall was mirrored. It was a bit overboard and distracting. Also the bathroom were subpar...while they were clean enough. The shower had NO water pressure. The water barely came out of the shower heads.

I am currently sitting in the lobby due to the horrible smelling room I was given. The room smells like feces, cheap perfume, and VERY strong cigarette smoke. Even though the hotel CLAIMS it's a non-smoking hotel. I called and advised the front desk clerk of the issue and she stated that I have been in the room too long for her to do anything. I literally was in that room 30 minutes. Didn't touch anything. I little sat at the desk. I did attempt to tough it out, but the horrible smell just got worst and worst until I became nauseous. I wasn't offered a different room, a refund, or anything! The desk attendant (with the nastiest tone) then had the audacity to tell me that I SHOULD HAVE told her as SOON as I got in the room and that she would NOT be making ANY accommodations. Which is appalling since I paid my hard earned money just to get a filthy stinking room. Why would I have a reason to lie? Clearly by the other reviews, Smelly Rooms is the norm here. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. THESE ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING and SO IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Re edit. Somehow my original review was removed. Please don’t book online or pay without looking at the rooms first. I booked online for two days after driving across country to find a dirty hotel, rooms, and elevator. The elevator door had smudges all over it and the first room reeked of bad order. I then walked to the front desk with my bag ready to leave to get a refund, then was told the hotel did not offer refunds. Off course! I was then OFFERED another room which was not even properly cleaned. Both rooms smelled Horrible and the walls were extremely thin. With Covid still at large, it’s a shame they don’t clean properly. After being yelled at by the clerk over the phone, I decided to contact corporate.The public can look at the photos and decide for themselves whether or not they think it’s clean or dirty. PS. The agency I booked though online told me it was up to the HOTEL MANGER to offer a refund.

My experience was in the winter and it was for one night. All fine for a quick stay. Room clean, restful sleep.
I would suggest calling the Microtel Inn directly to inquire about what specials and or discounts are available.
I know dogs are accepted but I have never seen a cat at the hotel.
