Perfect location. The room are decent and really clean but they have a bug problem. Found a roach in the room under the bench. So friends we knew staying there at the same time found a rough on there pillow. I'd never stay here again.

Here for a family boat trip. Loved this place! The location is good - Right next to restaurants and a gas station. The cleaning ladies are friendly and on top of it. Breakfast was always a fun experience, they had a little sitting area so it was great to meet and chat with the other guests. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy enough for hotel beds, everything worked, and office was accommodating. The parking lot is a little small if you're towing But fine if you're just traveling by car. Although we didn't use the pool, it was readily available and clean. In the evening there was always ample people around hanging out at the tables enjoying their time and people splashing around. It definitely looked like a cool hangout. Our friend did have issues with the (lack of) handicap accommodations. The bathroom was not friendly to those with physical limitations, even in the handicap room. We would definitely go back.

The front desk assistant was unfriendly and treated me like I was the worst part of her day (3-27-22 afternoon). I notified her that we didn’t have any towels in our room and she basically said we didn’t look hard enough. I had to come back with photos on my phone before she would resolve it (and then almost still didn’t believe that we didn’t have towels). Their breakfast is very sparse as well. The main feeling I get from this hotel is that the owners are scrimping on everything and anything they can while still being able to market services to get a higher daily rate. Stay elsewhere in Chiefland if you can.

We checked in about 8pm. No elevator and us older folks had to climb to the 2nd floor. Soon realized that there were NO towels in the room. The phone to call the office does not work. My husband went down to the office and was told they were out of towels. He about fell off the toilet that is loose from the floor. FOR $130 it should be better!
