Front desk person couldn’t locate my father’s grave. Location was entered incorrectly in computer. Map is useless and not detailed. Finally 3 young groundskeepers went to area and searched on foot for 20 minutes while I waited in the car with Mom. Eureka, they finally found it and agreed the place is completely disorganized. For example, Row Y is marked “E” on the ground but listed as Row I in computer. Good luck.

Is this visiting grounds closed on Saturday? I remember it should be open 24/7 for visiting grounds

Both my parents and brother are buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. I personally get no solace from going to their graves, but rather look at photos of happy times shared. I do however go once a year during the period around the high holy days. I was shocked, appalled, sad, and very very angry when I got to their gravesites. The upkeep was nonexistent! Their markers were completely covered with dead, dry grass, and I could not even read the name on my mothers marker. It made me sick!! Office was closed, but they will be hearing from me!!! We have perpetual care, and it is obvious to me that nobody has done anything to maintain the gravesites. I expect the cemetery out of respect to the deceased and those living relatives to keep all markers clean and free of overgrown, dead grass! You should be ashamed of the upkeep, or lack of it!!!!
