This is a beautiful place. Make sure to wear proper shoes for hiking. The trails were much more treacherous than I expected. I would not bring small children to hike the trails. This is for an advanced hiker.

Cool place for quick day hike several trails none more than a couple of miles, that meander up and down or completely around a giant washed out ravine. Not much wildlife or unusual plants, clean facilities and a nice small formal garden. Good photo opps because of the unusual landscape.

We just spent 2 1/2 hours hiking there. It was amazing. We have a 3,5,8,9 year old with us and they all did amazing on this hike. So pretty. The flowers were just staring to bloom.

Beautiful, historic park with lots of walking trails and a paved driveway that circles the ravines. The driveway is stroller-friendly; some of the nature trails are very steep and a lot of the stairs are in bad shape, but they’re also about 90 years old so what do you expect. There are a number of viewing platforms accompanied by plinths that have details about the history of the park and how it was developed, which is really interesting. There is also an exercise park and a playground - be warned that the playground often gets rogue golf balls hit into it! We were there for about 15 minutes and saw three balls so stay alert 😆

There are a lot of steps and elevation changes.
It is open on weekends and masks are not required while outside.
My sister works there call them and they will tell you
No there is not camping here. It is a day use only park. There never has been camping at this park.
Yes there are so many beautiful places to stop and eat there. They also have park benches to eat at if you desire a table
They do not, you must bring your own !! This state is to cheap for something like that.
The short trail on top near the visitor center and formal garden is flat and an easy 10 min walk. The trails down in the ravine are steep and narrow in spots, with uneven surfaces and exposed roots. They are not at all handicapped or cane accessible . They are very interesting to visit because it is different environment than most of Florida and take about an hour to explore. The trail next to the spring fed stream is flat and easily taveled but the loops onto the hillsides are difficult and maybe dangerous for anyone with walking or balance issues. The steps to get up and down to the spring and stream are good in some areas and partly washed out in others.
Yes
Just the road that circles the ravine. Bikes are not allowed on the walking trails. You should still go though, it's definitely worth it.
They are blooming
No
Stalking rangers on the grounds. Find a good vantage point near the community center (stamps are there, upstairs) and watch for a ranger to drive by on a golf cart. YMMV, but that's how we got the stamp on Sat.
Honestly, I am not sure, but there are a lot of different places to enjoy as it is now
Not that I am aware of, you can walk your dog at the Ravine Gardens as long as they are on a leash and under control. It is a lovely walk to take early in the morning before it gets hot
Don't know where everyone is getting the 7am from. State parks are open 8am to sundown. Not sunset. There is a sign posted with close time right by the the pay box.
It was still washed out last we were there..3 weeks ago. So I'm not sure of current status. Be nice if they kept it to only foot and bike traffic. Much more peaceful. IMO
Everything 😊
Beautiful park for a wedding!
Chuck Smith tell me more about these rules. How long is the tube trip in miles? Can you not stop along the way?
Uh what?
Yes there have been many weddings there, they also have a venue<(indoors) that can support your request you are asking about, best to call and work out the details and get a confirmed date for your request,,,,, yiC
I was there in april there was a large area of the main road that was gravel because the main road had washed away. If it is still like that then you may have trouble. They were not allowing cars to drive it.
It's a really nice park with several miles of walking trails. There are two suspension bridges(walking) and streams. To walk all of it, at least half a day. Several different trails to walk. Since it's a ravine, there's the top paved loop, then a loop part way down, then the bottom. Lots of picnic areas. The paved trail loop was closed to cars when we went in March due to erosion from hurricanes. Not sure if it still is. February/March is best because that's when the Azaleas and Camellia's are blooming.
Yes there are several some are right on yhr water with an amazing
In 2015 it was $250-$300 for the big hall. Might want to give them a call, prices might have changed.
We have seen a couple of weddings there.
