It was still washed out last we were there..3 weeks ago. So I'm not sure of current status. Be nice if they kept it to only foot and bike traffic. Much more peaceful. IMO
The main circle road is still coded except for foot traffic.
The hurricane wash out most of it I think it still off limits last time I went had tape of but the guided tours I that it's free may have changed call ahead just in case
you pay 2.00 dollars a person to get in but I believe the guided tours was free but last weekend it was down due to the harraicain we had so some of the roads where washed out but it was still fun
