Not trucker friendly. We are truck drivers with a layover, parked at the TA and noticed Palms Garden Inn next door. Looked at their website, rooms are about $70 with decent reviews & several room options available for tonight (king, king suite & doubles). So I called to see if they offer a CDL rate; when I asked the gentleman if they offer a CDL rate he replied “I have no available rooms”.

Crystal Universe

This is exactly what I expect out of a budget hotel that's pet friendly. It's not fancy and new. But the plumbing works and it's got clean linen and towels. Air conditioner worked great although it was a tiny bit louder than I would prefer when it turned on and off. The bed was not super comfortable but it wasn't an uncomfortable. The hot water does take a while but it's very hot when it starts. Overall I was perfectly happy with my one night stay here and I would stay again. The TV did not work (said no signal) but I'm sure if I would have called they would have come fixed it I just didn't care enough about it since I was exhausted.

Sewer smell outside of room. Ice cost $0.25 a bucket. Fridge not cold enough. Laundry is outside in hallway. Bathroom small. I wish I had gone closer to Gainesville. Nothing at this exit. Reality did not match good reviews.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Front desk service was very curtious and helpful. Not to mention my wife left one of her IP EARPODS in the room and they were kind enough to mail it to us. Saved us from having to purchase new ones. Overall it was a nice stay. I highly recommend it.
