It was a gorgeous day to hike the many trails at Devil's Gulch. The 4 and 6 year old grandkids loved taking turns being the trail guide. So much fun!!

Short trails but ypu can go off on your own. The falls were trickling due to the drought but imagination can go a long ways here.

Questions & Answers

can you camp out there

You can camp at Palisades State Park (about 2 miles south) or Split Rock Park (city park right next to Devil's Gulch). The state park is more fully developed and has cabins, tent or camper sites. The city park is less expensive, but less developed...camp sites only.

Not really. If you stay at the top it would be fine. But to actually climb down into the gulch is pretty treacherous footing. (definitely worth it though) You could take a dog down, just be very cautious.
