Worst experience ever!! My mom got admitted due to mental problems. I told them she was not ready to come out and they said otherwise. She was there for a whole month and they didn't treat her for what she needed to be treated. She came out with bruises in her body and face. When she mention this to me when she was in the hospital I made complaints twice and they said that never happen. I understand that is a psych hospital and sometimes patients can be hard but they need to report things like this. My mom came out of there worst. With no medication that needed to be treated for her manic episodes. This is unfair and ridiculous. The other thing which I dislike is no visitation allow due to "Covid". They should have a better system because is already hard for people to be in there and not seen their loves ones.

Horrific. Loved one was here for nearly 3 weeks. Saw social worker only ONE TIME upon intake. Saw doctor only twice, and was offered one session of private therapy for 20 minutes... DURING A 3 WEEK STAY. Don't bother trying to get in touch with anyone either... the voicemail boxes are all full and if you are lucky enough to leave a message on one that isn't full, no one will call you back. Loved one had a flair up of VERY painful chronic illness which left him bed-ridden for 3 days... a simple medication clears this particular illness rather quickly, but yet was not administered. It makes me equal parts sad and mad that this institution is accredited to serve as a mental health facility. I look forward to the canned response that some bot has been leaving saying how surprised they are by the negative review. What a joke.

This is the worst psych hospital on Long Island. DO NOT send your loved one here if you can help it. The lack of communication is appalling. This place is unethical and should be shut down. This facility preys on the mentally unstable. Their practice is a money grab for insurance funds. I pray for the day that this place is shut down. Do not send your loved ones here!

Because everyone that works there is too busy eating, watching TV, or playing on their phones.....they don't give a rats a** about patients.

No

Best to call the main number, as you may have been give the wall phone located in the unit and no one answers it unless the person you are trying to reach is right by the phone.

Yeah because the place is horrible. They don't care about your feelings or anyone elses. They make it impossible to contact anybody thats there. Sorry to hear about your situation :(
