Tiffany King is my provider. I absolutely love her and her nurse. I’ve seen 3 different doctors/NPs in the last 4 years (one dr left and 2 for insurance changes). Tiffany was the ONLY one who listened to me and was completely onboard with helping me with my weight and thyroid issues. She talked to me like an actual person. I have a career and a family. I was sick of the “have you tried dieting.”She was the first provider that I’ve ever had that didn’t say, “Well, I think you look ok. Just try exercising more.” I love her so much & her nurse that I started taking my two children to her. My children and I are always treated with the utmost respect & care. I’m on a few medications & always get them refilled on time. If I ever have any issues I message her on the app & always get a response! I couldn’t be more thankful for Tiffany and Katie!!!

The staff is wonderful, and my family provider is so amazing. She listens to me no matter what is going on and involves me with my options for treatment. When I needed help for specialists to help treat me with my after stroke side effects, my provider Tina Nuendank definitely did make sure I got the help I needed and so quickly. She would have her nurse reach out to me for an update on results or if I need an appointment. The lab is so gentle and quick about it when a blood sample is needed for tests. I love the door bell system to get an available lab tech know that someone has arrived and waiting. When I had an urgent need come up on a day my provider had a day off I am still always taken care of and I like Tiffany King too. There is always someone that treat you with respect. There’s no judgement or bias or mistreatment or negativity here. All I’ve encountered is kindness, caring hard working people here that listen, suggest a treatment plan for absolutely everything from A to Z like meds, procedures, tests, referrals, that incorporates a patient’s input and patient’s choices. A patients feelings are so important that build the trust between your care provider team and that’s why I love it here! I never knew my input mattered so much until I left my provider at Marshfield Stettin Center to Aspirus Wausau Clinic Westwood Center Boulevard that I got the help I needed. I was nervous before my first appointment but before my appointment ended I felt like I was welcomed, like warm hugs, and greeted and took such special attention and great care of me that I will never leave! Many patients need a refill on meds and encounter difficulties on acquiring them, but 9/10 times it’s usually due to either forgetting to request a refill from the pharmacy before you run out, or an issue with insurance-from meds that are not covering that brand and needs to substitute another or a prior authorization paper to get a specific Med or a controlled substance should be called in to your providers office to request a refill. You should ask your provider what you can do to get your meds refilled. Ask your pharmacist about what can be done to get your meds in time. I go through Walgreens on bridge street and the pharmacy is open 24/7 and they have a drive through, and a phone app that can set a reminder for when to take meds, refill them automatic (excluding auto refill/shipping for control substances-but can still call in advance and pick up) and those that refill can give you an option to prepay Your meds for a quick pick up or shipping it to your house. When I had an issue with getting medicine, I definitely spoke with my provider and pharmacist and again 9/10 times it’s always insurance, and one time the pharmacy was out of a Med for 3 days (but not a live threatening Med so I was ok with waiting on it). Some great providers come and go and relocate at any facility….but this place is full of the same professional bed side manner with a fantastic staff, that treats everyone with respect and dignity that I will always stay here. They’re smart, capable, hard working and greeted with a smile and bond with all their patients. Empathy and sympathy is always appreciated. I recommend this clinic because when someone needs help you are like a baby bear cub and your health care provider is like the mother bear, the staff too. I’ve been here for a few years, and I can say that I do trust and believe in my provider and the staff.

I had to go to Acension due to a change in insurance. Tiffany King was my "caregiver". That is not what I would call her. For at least 6 months, every month I got my prescriptions late. I went without my blood pressure meds for 9 days! I called everyday! Finally I asked to talk with someone who had some authority. They transferred me to, now I don't remember, and I left a message to call me. I'm still waiting! I was extremely upset! I called again, and, again. This particular day I was angry! I had to "talk" to her nurse, Katie. She in turn kept telling me to calm down and I WOULD NOT get my prescription until I did! She also said, "I don't deserve to be treated this way". WHAT?? I blew up! "Oh. But I do! Go without my meds for days? I don't even feel like a patient". And I didn't. If anything I was underneath the totem pole (not mentioned in derogatory way). I'd rather die if she was the last "caregiver" on earth. I have no use or respect for Tiffany King or her nurse, Katie, as they don't deserve it. I'm so glad to be done with them. Also. Are there any REAL Dr's a person could see? Why is it always LPN'S or NP's? I want a "Doctor!

I have Dr. Townshend and he is such a good doctor. He listens to what you have to say, figures out the problem and how to treat it. There rest of the staff are equally as kind. I've never had an issue at ascension.

Ascension | Oct 20, 2021

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.
