Although they finally removed my iud. I felt unheard by the provider. Telling me I was untrue about how long I had it in. Also not being heard when talking about my health history. On my second visit I just didn’t argue. I was in pain an needed the Mirena finally removed. I am happy with my decision not to get another. I will NEVER have to go through this again. I thank god. I suggest anyone in need do what they have to, don’t feel bullied, you’re not alone and thank god when it’s over. Maybe travel if possible to a provider that’s coherent and communicative. The providers in Wausau seem to lack in the providing part of healthcare.

Called for assistance because I'm on my menstrual cycle, without funds, assistance, no doctors and my condition makes my periods dangerous. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome type 1 and it causes dangerously heavy flows that can cause me to pass out from losing too much blood. They laughed at me. Didn't even offer help, just to go to a hospital. They literally laughed at a disabled person over the phone!
