oh my god, they literally mailed me someone else’s passport? I have no idea where my passport is and they’re unresponsive- my passport is LOST in their possession after I completed all their requirements. Completely unacceptable. Everyone needs to be fired. That’s so SO wrong. Literally- they sent me a random passport. How do you mess up that badly?? I’ve emailed them in both spanish and English and they respond back in very broken English. Not a good look for the country of Spain.

Worst embassy experience ever. It is impossible to get a hold of them to schedule visa appointment via email.

Oh man, if you can, stay away. They really just do not care over here and I've wasted an ungodly amount of time working with them and their VISA process. Unfortunately, they are the only option when doing certain things, and they clearly face no repercussions for any poor service effort that they provide. In my experience there, I saw many people in worse situations than mine as a result of their negligence, and just look at the other reviews for validation. In the process of applying for a long-term Visa with them, and it is an absolute nightmare to say the least. Everything involved with the VISA is extremely time-sensitive, but they fail to give an adequate timeline for anything and provide zero detail. I'm not even writing the review about that, though. The one star review comes from the fact that I sent in my Visa application on September 6th through their preferred courier, USPS (confirmed by them). They stated, after contacting them myself independently, that they filed my request on October 3rd. This means that the package was sitting somewhere in the establishment for almost one month without any action. Their website says that you can legally expect a decision back exactly one month from the submission date. Although it's speculation, I feel that they listed this date as a way to cover their own a**. Although you will pay a hefty $160 for the Visa service, I was told by management that "it was not our fault" and to "contact USPS" about the delay. They said it could take another month from the October 3rd date to arrive. The delivery was confirmed by USPS and they literally receive multiple packages solely from USPS every day. Keep in mind, they keep your passport this entire time, you are required to pay for foreign health insurance that you can't use while you wait, and you can't plan/schedule ANYTHING for your trip since you have no understanding of when you will get it back. Just to satisfy all of the Visa requirements, you are probably spending over $500 just to obtain the contents that you are submitting. They couldn't care less.

Idk what it is with the Spanish and Italians. They are so angry and rude. It's so sad because their countries are so beautiful. If you want a shen visa. Avoid this place. Go to the French embassy instead.

My maternal and paternal family are from Spain, what do I have to do to obtain a Spanish passport?
With the Colombian passport you can enter Europe without a visa since 2016 you can request information by calling Colombian Foreign Relations
If you are a US citizen, I believe it's just your passport if you are going less than 90 days.
Write an email to the Washington Embassy and they will answer you with the information after 1 or 2 hours. Have your literal birth certificate ready, which will be requested along with an original and a copy of various documents such as your residence in the United States and a Spanish passport. Greetings!
Un visado de estudiante. Generally you need to apply for the visa before you make official travel plans because you never know how long the application process will take
USA does not request it, you would have to know if Spain requests it to enter.
Go to the Spain train authority website, and look if you can buy a ticket online, if they allow that you automatically will have to schedule.
Visa office is open from 9am til 1pm. Just have all required docs.
Yes you'll need a visa If you're in Washington DC on Monday and Thursday you can just walk in with all the paper required No appointment needed on those days
As a US citizen you do not require a visa for any EU country if your stay is less than 3 months. You will have to download a QR code with your vaccination information. Your airline or cruise line should give you the info on downloading the app to obtain the QR code
Your wife needs to apply for Spain visa in her home country since she is just visiting the United States.
if you are a student you do need a no objection letter
Yes she can. I'm the onsite building engineer and she can schedule an appt. The hours I believe are 9am til 1pm.
Yes, with a tourist visa that must be requested at the Spanish embassy
Tourism is big industry in Spain. I heard Spain is considering leaving the eurozone. America has red seal electronic ledgers. Tons of green seal the federal reserve held after 2008 to prop up the dollar. Covvid probably caused the same issue with the European central bank; Spanish inflation... Bring increasing supply.
Yes. To do any paperwork at the embassy you need to make an appointment
You have to make an appointment at the Spanish Embassy for the renewal
You should be able to as long as you have your vaccination docs, but again the rules and regulations can change any given day 🙄🙄
Yeah I think so... just don't ask them to use their bathrooms because they are not working during the pandemic 🤭
Best to go to the consulate
Yes she has to get a covid test
Hello, I think you should consult directly with the Consulate General either in Washington or in New York as appropriate, they are kind people and will have an answer for you. Luck.
You would have to ask there.
It could be due to the curfew/riot. Maybe try writing to them?
I don't think that shows up anywhere unless there's a reason to ask.
Call the embassy
Get in touch with the Consulate of Spain, you are in the same building of the Embassy.
With an appointment in 99% ,i believe. http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/MIAMI/en/ServiciosConsulares/Pages/Pasaporte.aspx
Did they answer you ?
I don't know exactly , but I think you should have a prescription from the doctor that these medicines are necessary to you ,for your health. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/spain/traveler/packing-list
Thanks a lot.
In your place of legal residence
The visa is applied in the place of legal residence of the applicant ...
More valid answers you 'll get from the Embassy. See these articles if help you. http://www.studying-in-spain.com/visa-and-entry-requirements-into-spain/ https://spanishstudies.org/students-parents/spain-student-visa-instructions/ If you make a Google search by typing for example "studies to Spain for American citizens"you 'll see some articles.
So what's your question?
If you live near the embassy, go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday when the consulate opens, you can also call by phone. If they don't give you a solution at the consulate, ask to speak to a council. All the best
http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/LOSANGELES/en/ServiciosConsulares/CSLA/Paginas/CSLA%20(English)/Nationality-for-Sephardic-Jews.aspx The embassy is not going to answer any questions through google. You have to go ask in person because they don't answer the phone.
It doesn't, elections are held in schools and the day before it's mandated that there's "political siclence" they call it a day for thought, so your travel should not be affected at all. Be mindful that most stores and businesses close on Sunday
Here they are not going to give it to them, they do not answer any questions
Check with US costums, but ut is normal to ask for some sort of ID
I have been on that page and I can not see the option to renew passport, or any session where they give information about passport, I would appreciate it if you knew and would help me
It depends on your nationality if you need a visa or not
I think mine took a couple of months to get to me
You can go without an appointment, if you have your old passport, carry it, also your ID and birth certificate.
You can go to the Spanish embassy from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1 pm and apply for a visa there
No, you don't need a visa for 17 days if you have a US passport
Go to the nearest police station or police station.
Hello, you need a recent birth certificate (from the last years) and you can go to the Embassy to register. You can find the information on what you need to bring (proof of US residency, Spanish passport, etc.) on the embassy's website. Greetings
Go to the Spanish embassy in marroco or to the agency who sold you the trip/ticket and they should be able to help you with the visa.
You can acquire it at the consulate, go to the website of the consulate in Houston, fill out the form and go in person to request it.
If you live and reside legally in Mexico, you only need roundtrip tickets, hotel reservation, valid passport x 90 days after your return to Mexico and travel insurance for tourit.
Before you leave
No, it cannot be done online, you have to go in person to the consulate or embassy that corresponds to you
Go to the embasy and ask, I don't think you need an appointment. The people answering this questions don't work at the embassy, it's just people who rated their visit to the embassy, sorry I can't be of more help
No appointment is necessary, you can go whenever you want
These questions are not answered by the embassy. It is answered by anyone who has done a review, that is, anyone like you and me who the most they can have is the information they find in google. Look on the web if the citizens of Mexico need a visa, it does not matter the residence, what matters is your passport
Yes you can but you can also get an international driver license pretty cheap, you can google where you can do it near your house
They need a Schengen visa
I don't see why not, as long as you have your passport. You are a citizen so you have as much right to stay there as anyone else. Once you are there it might behoove you to obtain a national ID (called DNI, documento nacional de identidad) so you don't have to carry your passport everywhere. Go to the embassy nontheless, you may need some paperwork done for that.
Passport photo, old passport, ID, birth certificate, be registered at the embassy
You can go at any time, but make sure you go early because they take a long time to give you the new passport. If you want them to send it to you, take a prepaid postal envelope
At the Cuban consulate, I think it's on Lexington Ave. But look at it on google, it says there
Not sure what Spanish consulate has to do with a J1 visa holder here in US. If your wife need to be legalized in US call an immigration attorney. Otherwise call the spanish consulate they do pick up.
No, they have to send it from Spain and it takes a long time to arrive
No one from the embassy is going to answer here. Just ordinary people. If you do not approach them in person or contact them by email, you will be left without a response.
Yes you can have dual, I'm going to do it too
We are the same but if you go to the embassy of Spain there are going to help you
Well, if you are here to get there, getting married here will be of little use to you
Just walk in to the consulate during its business hours (mornings).
Hello, I am Dominican and I am in the USA and I arrived for the first time with residence and I want to go to Spain, what should I do?
