Easy experience with kind men that helped.

Unreliable. Here at 7:50am on a Monday, and the gate is closed, no one is here.

Would much rather go to the recycling center on Eisenhower for cardboard. I’m appalled my city tax dollars pay for this. The employees appeared as if they were homeless and had an absolutely abysmal customer service; one essentially tried to fight me for asking a question and a follow up because I didn’t understand him. The city should be ashamed.

Quick and simple. Drop off old hazardous waste, glass, or regular recycling. Stay in car for hazardous items and drive through gate. Giant dumpsters for everything else.

Do they accept paint?
Try the nearest Best Buy. They recycle electronics, batteries, etc. Another option is the recycling center at 3224 Colvin St in Alexandria. Open Monday and Saturday
This service is for residences of Alexandria... no business waste, must be from a residence (Federal law). Users of the service need log there address... so please use an Alexandria address. If a car drives in with Maryland tags, they will likely ask where you live.
