The large team of overzealous security guards they've hired seem to take particular pleasure in yelling at the patrons for no reason. One guy yells at you to move faster coming in, another accuses you of having something hidden in your empty pockets after he checks your bag and still looks annoyed when you turn them inside out, another yells at you while picking up your tickets since you're not moving fast enough. It's a real deterrent for going here for events that are supposed to be fun and pleasurable. I've literally seen less aggressive security at most airports and clubs. Hope they fix it and just install some good metal detectors instead of their current antagonistic setup that is useless for actually preventing whatever violence they're worried about at the end of the day. I understand the need for security, especially at a synagogue, but yelling at your patrons without cause at every step of the entry process isn't a good business model. Now for some positives. They host a diverse set of events, the domed ceiling is really beautiful, the audiences are quiet and respectful of the acts, and the location is great if you're in the city.

Lovely and authentic venue for a wedding ceremony. Sundays, there is some street parking. The sanctuary has a beautifully painted ceiling.

Good evening. we would like to come to the Beth Hart. How does the general admission tickets work? what time does the doors open? Is there different levels of tickets? My wife and I are on the older side and can't fight the crowds rushing in?

Everyone just lines up and it's first come/first serve. If you get there early there likely won't be any pushing crowds and you'll be able to find a seat easily. Everyone was very respectful when I was there. I recommend getting there a half an hour before the doors open, depending on how popular your event is.
