Vegetation is heavy and atleast for 10 ft to shore in most places , you better fish weed less or u might not get that bait back . 3 stars because i caught a few there before.

It was a very relaxing experience, walking, feeling the summer air, the green trees and the beaver dam in the lake, everything invites me to visit it very often.

Peaceful spot to get away from it all, for a short while anyhow.

Always a good choice! The walk around the lake is a perfect length for jogging or strolling, something like a mile around. The main wildlife I count on seeing are the turtles, but you will see wire "fences" around many trees due to beavers. The path is mostly well-shaded and is a pleasant place for a walk with a friend. The park has a large parking lot, and it closes at dusk.

I've seen someone kayaking there. The neighbors also have kayaks. I reckon you can, but not sure.
Yes, they are updating the parking lot. The park is gorgeous.
The entire park is for dogs to run around in as long as they are on a leash. Most people walk their dogs around the lake, and rest at the middle point for the dogs and give them water that they brought for them.
Yes it is open. Capacity I am not sure. If I had to take a guess I'd say a couple hundred
Um im pretty sure the park is closed at dusk but yes in the afternoon its safe Greenbelt PD are usually off to the side somewhere along the trail.
Not sure about that.
Not at the park
It has plenty of places for Bar-B-Q, Shades and open areas and completely animal friendly area. It is not too crowded, but you might find difficult to get hold of a Bar-B-Q grill on a day of good weather. It also has restrooms and bins for trashing animal poop bags.
I believe the park is first come first served....but you can call the City of Greenbelt to find out for sure
Yes - you need a fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
3 times around it is a 5 miles. I use to walk it and use my Fitbit
You have to go to the main Greenbelt site it's the city site to find out what you need to do
