This hotel is so poorly run that I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever staying here. Elevator stopped working and the “manager” couldn’t care less. I guess this hotel doesn’t realize ADA compliance is a thing. The “manager” never shows up to work on time himself and they seem to have a problem with staffing. The small staff they do have seems to be overworked and treated horribly by the owners (who live in the hotel and do nothing to help their staff. Instead they hide in their room and only seem to come out to create issues.) Any housekeeping issue is a direct result of this. housekeepers expected to clean 50+ rooms and spend less than 15-20 minutes total on each one, so nothing is properly cleaned. The only linens that washed daily are sheets and towels. Anything else is rarely washed unless there’s an inspection. The breakfast here is also poor quality compared to other Choice Hotels. The only positives here are a couple of friendly front desk employees and comfortable new mattresses.

Chesbay Windseeker

Our room was okay at best but not really that nice. Maybe the management just doesn't care, but, large yellow stains on bed linens give the room a feeling of being dirty. If stains won't wash out, it's time to throw them away. Also, the TV in our room had dead pixels making it essentially unusable. I would not visit here again, based on my experience I would not recommend this hotel. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

Positive: Very clean, room was great. Negative: Yes, in our room I could not shut the dark curtains as they were only half curtains, so the lights and such were pretty bright. We were located in the front of the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was nice and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was that the water pressure was low and there was dead big flies that was lying on the air and heating unit. I had to kill that was flying around. OMG, I can't believe it, in the dead of winter 17°degree weather. My kids enjoyed the breakfast. I got to relax and take it easy, before getting back on the road. Thank you for the hospitality.
