Red Canyon Slot Aka Peek a boo trailhead

Road to the trailhead was EPIC! I was in a lifted 4Runner with 34’s. Please don’t attempt unless you have experience off-roading in sand and have a true off-road vehicle. Canyon was well worth it.

The hike is definitely doable(moderate, leaning towards tough, because of the deep sand slowing you down) and was completed within 2.5 hours, round trip. However, since we had returned from the antelope canyon just 3 days before this hike we were not so impressed. We could have totally skipped it.

beautiful place. unlike anything I have seen. short 4wd trail to it. not to bad. it's really bumpy. the hike was great through the canyon

Beautiful! I recommend going around noon for the sun reflecting into the slot canyon. If you don’t want to hike 8 miles then I would rent a atv from Kane County Off Road and drive the trails there. If you don’t feel comfortable getting around on the trails by yourself then you can have a guide take you there from one of the many tour companies
