I really like this portion of the trail for an easier walk, and especially to take my dog. Nice parking lot and bathrooms! My 4 stars is because so many people are leaving their dog's waste on the trail just feet from the garbage can and FREE poop bags. Perhaps there could be a couple more signs a few feet down the trail? Also the garbage can has a sign on the front that says it isn't emptied and you should pack it out, but it's unlocked and only partially full so it's clear it is being emptied (and is a fantastic ammenity!); that should probably be removed. Otherwise, I absolutely love this trail.
