Excellent trail to stretch your legs and get some air. The flora and fauna isn't half bad either.

Very enjoyable place to run, walk, or ride your bicycle with your friends and family. It's a long trail for me. I usually start at the Golden Corral / Petsmart @ N Eastman Rd area all the way thru Orebank Rd or Cleek Farm area and back. Very well maintained trail.I love it!

From the trailhead at Orebank Rd., it's two miles to the exit at American Way. And mostly downhill. So I get my wife to pick me up there and drive me back lol. And she usually has me a cold drink. I love her.

Beautiful, wide trail. The first half mile is gravel, then it turns into a paved trail that runs along a creek. Very hilly first mile (so be careful when coming back to the trailhead, especially with a stroller). There are wooden benches at every quarter mile or so. There is a water fountain and a Porta Potty at the trail head. Gravel parking lot.

Just moved to the area and was curious on is the park dog friendly? Also, does it circle back around? Where are the best places to park?

Ahhh , if you park at Domtar ball Park you can take the sky hanging bridge across the river to the Greenway. I say that because it's most dog friendly. Walk out to the left of the fields. You will see a mowed trail. Also, in the evenings there is a dog social going on at the river side. Lots of places for dogs to get in the river. Once you cross the bridge it's still dog friendly but leashes are required for sure. Have fun. Also there is a trail around the outside of the ball fields. Also dig friendly,

I've never walked the greenbelt and want to. How long should I expect to take? I know it is 8-9 miles long.

We do it in 5 hrs including lunch. There's so many beautiful photo opportunities also. Hope you enjoy!

How much shade is available? Is it a terribly bad idea to go ride bikes there when it's 89+ degrees?
