This isn't the worst place I've ever lived so I gave it 2 stars. But I'm more fair than I think I should be. We've had a mouse and we had to kill it ourselves. There was an animal stuck in our wall and no one came. There was no heat in my son's room one winter and maintenance brought us a space heater that lasted a couple days. Afterward, we bought our own. At least they tried? They didn't follow up though. We've had to change the filters in the vents ourselves. We had a flying ant problem this year for a season. I am not Martha Stewart but I keep my home clean. Some people leave reviews knowing they are the problem. I assure you, we try very hard not to be a problem. At the moment our tub is being fixed which dripped water for months and is finally being fixed when we share our 330 dollar water bill with them. The toilet won't flush correctly but instead of replacing any mechanism or the toilet, they just fix the symptom and not the root. Pics will be included. We had to go an entire weekend without a working toilet and my nephew's were visiting. So we spent a LONG time unclogging it everyday. We took care of our own ant issue. Someone pulled a gun out at the entrance of the complex and shot it right in front of my family. You have to change your license and plates to Maryland tags, unless you KNOW someone and then they give them to you...living here has been a saving grace since it is low cost. But when the cost went up the service did not. The maintenance men are friendly but inconsistent. The ladies in the office are friendly as well. No one has been rude. My part of the neighborhood has older ppl so it is quiet. Idk it's a mixed bag. I like it sometimes but then other times my hallway smells like what my husband says is "boat", not up on all the lingo. Sometimes the power surges and no one calls or emails to let the complex know what's going on. They don't give you visitors passes, at least not us. Maybe we just don't know the right ppl. Anyway it's love/hate living here. Highlights: I love my exposed brick. I love my bedroom size. I love that I don't hear neighbors constantly. But tbh we are the noisy ones lol. Sorry neighbors ❤️. My neighbors are kind and they look out old-school style.
