While it is off the beaten path, that's what I loved about it. Staff was friendly, sites are large and campground was pretty quiet. It is noteworthy that the pads are gravel, while this isn't a problem to me, it may be to some.

If I would have realized this campground was down 3 miles of very dusty washboard gravel roads I honestly would have never booked it. It took 10 minutes to get to the highway just to get anywhere. The campground itself is paved and very spread out which is nice. It’s very clean and well maintained. There is no cable or wi fi which didn’t bother us. There are a lot of permanents with some of them being a little junky. I would have given it 4 stars but the owner came into our campsite while it was still occupied with a tractor to clean out our fire ring. My husband had to stop him from throwing away our fire starters. That was just not acceptable. Also they do not tell you when you book if you leave before your monthly stay is up they will charge you the nightly fee instead of the monthly fee.

We have been here for a month and so far its great. The park is clean and it's right on the river so my fiance is in heaven being so close to his favorite fishing spot. We haven't met to many people because we are in the back area but it's very quiet and our neighbors are nice. The owner's are very involved in their park. Dale drives his golf cart around daily so he knows what is going on in his park and you can tell that the full time residents are eyes and ears for him. The pros and cons of that are the residents stick together and are like a family so they don't want the riff rafe in their neighborhood. Some people might have issues with other people in their business like that. The people are very helpful and someone came right over and helped us get hooked up so it didn't matter if he was seeing what kind of people we were. At least you know people are watching so you will have help inn an emergency situation. It's a friendly quiet park we are planning on being here for a while so I'm hoping to become a part of the family. The spots are big and each one has a fire pit and picnic table. They do have some rules and regulations they are not unreasonable. The owners take pride in their park so they expect your area to be nice looking bit so should anyone thats visiting. It sits back ot on a gravel road but it's well worth the drive. If you want a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy nature this is the perfect place!

Absolutely LOVE this place. I wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are super sweet and the campers are too! I've stayed an several campgrounds around the country and this is by far the best! Nice big spots with full hookups. Beautiful pond and right on the river.

We camp there every fall and I'm sure they'd let you camp in a tent, but not sure it would be worth it. Every one of their sites is full hook-up so you'd be paying the full hook-up price, which is somewhere around $40 / night.

I need a place to live in my Camper for the winter. Do you allow this here?

They have a pond onsite and access to the river on property. There is a boat ramp not far down the road but I'm not sure if they have their own boat ramp.
