We go to Marval Trout in Gore, Ok every year, and have for 25 years. It’s a wonderful experience for adults & kids. They always have something heat going on. The Illinois River is a cool oasis in the hot summers. Great place to go!

Marval employees are amazing. They go above and beyond to provide a beautiful clean park. They are friendly caring and attentive. We are so grateful for Janey and the crew. Recently we had one of our dogs get away on a floating accident and for 2 weeks the Marval staff helped us look for her and were so encouraging. We did get her back and couldn't be happier.

Very great vacation spot lived 10 mile from thus place and have never went.... I was highly impressed by the resort. They have all kinds of activities like: float trips, train rides, rock and shirt painting, mini golf, paddle cars and golf carts ti rent. All the staff was very professional and man was maintenance/housekeeping department on top of it. Cleanest bathrooms and showers I've witnessed at resort. Definitely money well spent and memories gained for a lofe time!

Nice place ,was disappointed that there were no activities for kids during the week or a movie at night ,no train ride except weekends,..They need to have all this all the time for kids ,Splash pad need to be redone ,Be nice if the pool had a store or games to play in the building that was not being used ..The lady in activity center looked bored ,Other than those small issues it was great the cabin was good except the light in the loft needs to be out cause the loft is for kids only. and that light looked dangerous .our oven didn't work ..I will be coming back .

Beware: Read the rules. Pets are only allowed leashed. You may not have any kind of crate or cage outside for your pets. They will make you take it down. You must accompany your pets at all times or they must be in your camper/cabin. 2 pet maximum. Pet friendly place but not really. Learned the hard way
Memorial Day was so much fun, we only got in because someone cancelled at the last minute. We have been twice and are already reserved for August.
$29.00 and theres 2 pools one is heated and there is a Splash pad for the younger ones as well,
2 pools.... Very nice. New cabins new drive in theater....and when you get linens we make your bed😁I love breakfast on Sunday john is a awesome cook
All handicapped chairs are welcomed here we also have some cabins for you. You should be able to get real close to the river.

Call them or check on line. One of our favorite places. Water changes from few inched deep to three plus for tubing. Depends on power generation. Which they post in officr. Trout fishing can be outstanding if you hit on right bait.

No I'm at MarVal resort now we have no power and no propane the water is rising but slowly we just don't know what will happen tomorrow......
I was wondering the same thing? I called to ask if it does flood out, will that water recede and it be safe by my reservation date? The kind lady did tell me it was to soon to say, but as of early Yesterday it wasn't flooded. I'm hoping for the best, otherwise I will have to cancel...and pray I get full refund. Hoping for the best, cause this place is so awesome and I was and am still hoping for a great vacation.
No as of today it's just beautiful here no rain today hopefully it will stay away. Its 8 PM Monday night we are hoping it misses us.

No once you pass the gate into the park you can do everything. Equipment rental for some things is not included like tubes to float the river but you can bring your own. They also have a craft room that you need to pay if you want to do the crafts, it is optional. They also have water balloons for the water fight night during the summer, those cost, they are up at the Check in place. Or you can bring your own. The pools (2) are free. And the river is free to use.
Yes. Just be sure to call for a reservation if you're looking for specific dates. We just got back from a week stay that we're booked a full year in advance for 5 cabins for or family reunion.
No they wont allow tents on sites with RVs, you have to rent another site.
I would not go tent camping here. Go to Greenleaf for tent camping. Marvel is a family RV or cabin rental facility.
