Despite arriving well after the front office closed, we were greeted by a staff member who escorted us to our cabin. When we opened the door to the cabin, the AC was already running and the space was cold - welcomed because it was a hot and muggy night. The cabin was clean and simple. Bathrooms look newer and are clean with good facilities. Showers are spacious! You can’t beat the price either. Very affordable. The only cons were that it was very buggy. We kept getting bugs in the cabin when we went in and out. The grounds are poorly lit as well. There’s just one light on the cabin - none in the walk ways or paths leading to and from the parking spot. Our neighbors were rude but we didn’t report to the staff (it was too late in the night and we were tired). They parked in our parking spot and loudly threw away trash and loaded their truck at 5:30am - which kept us awake sadly.

Fantastic experience! I cannot say enough good things about Michael and Isabel!!! We slid in yesterday evening without reservations and secured a beautiful, private shady site (45). Michael escorted us and ensured we were pulled in and content. Such a nice man and his wife, Isabel, was very friendly and professional working the office desk 😊. I used the laundry facilities which were clean and tidy. The showers were large and spotless with good pressure and hot water...a much needed treat after 4 days traveling. We will remember this KOA on our next cross country trip!!!

This place was great. Loved it here. Great people and a beautiful atmosphere. There's a lot to do here and it's located right on a small lake and close to I40. I loved that it's paved...I think they all should be. We will be back to see all the great things that are nearby.

I drove 14 hours and finally arrived here. I arrived a bit before check in and was greeted with someone that was very friendly and there was no issue checking in early (I think i got lucky because it’s Sunday :). Everything was easy and suggestions were given. I planned on trying the restaurant up the street but I fell asleep…. Anyway, the Buffalo are fun to view (in pens) and everything is clean and appears to be well managed. They have a large trading post up the street and they have a small camp store on site… I’m not that helpful as this was mostly about sleep and reorganizing things… The little cabin is perfect and has its own bath and shower which is surprising as the rate was low (68$ after tax-rounded up). Bring your own linens and you are good to go!
