7,5 miles of awesome trail, if you do the full loop. The parts closer to the river are more challenging. Very quiet with lots of wildlife.

Nice and peaceful wooded nature preserve with trails for mountain biking and hiking, and showshoeing and fat biking in the winter. Many old growth trees, views of the Quarter Run creek and Cedar River from the Northern edges of the property. There is a changing station and port-a-potty at the trailhead parking lot, as well as a map, sign-in board, and donation box to help support the maintenance of the trails. Donations are much appreciated 🤘

Great trails. A little gem just north of Cedar. Falls. Do it

Questions & Answers

What is the elevation

Depends on the area and what trail you take. For the most part it is at a higher elevation when you start but when you get back towards the river it gets lower. On my last hike there I got a lowest point of 777ft and a highest of 995 ft.
