They operate on donations here, it's well worth 5$. I only wish their website was better about providing info about their special events (fancy teas, etc). I can't wait to go again in October for their Victorian funeral wake event.

Loved the tour. Very educational and informative. Its like stepping back in time. Staff and tour guide were very friendly. My kids who are 6 and 12 enjoyed it too! Cute little gift shop and lots of photo ops. Nice garden area to explore.

Took my Granddaughter with me and she loved it as much as I did. The tour guide was amazing, definitely a must see. A lot of great history learned.

Hidden Riverside history worth visiting. I will be back for the tour upstairs. Check out the stove with the oven ontop, upper left. I enjoy the ingenuity, thought, and craftsmanship that went into building the house.

Yes. There is alot of history to see and take part in. This is great for all ages.
Depending on what function you are attending it may be free of charge. Best to call ahead.
The ice cream social is from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm in June. Third weekend of that month
Speaking as a docent at the house, I can tell you what I have told visitors and that answer is "Yes you can". Professional video and other photography does need to be approved beforehand, but for the everyday visitor, enjoy our house!
