Had an unusually fantastic appointment with NP Wright this week. Was the first time in ages I’ve seen a doctor at Kimbrough who took their time explaining their diagnosis and answering questions. We left confident that we received adequate care and consideration.

I went there to get a referral/ order for a sleep test. The nurse or whatever she was didn’t seem to be. Othered . Told me there was a sleep clinic at Walter Reed and gave me a paper to a call within 48 hours. The number was for Kimbraugh. All this happened after I drive to Fort Meade only to be told to call call some number. The intake nurse was great The PA/ nurse that actually saw me was god awful.

GAT A DIFFERENT FACILITY!!! My doctor was always rude, missed an important appointment that no one called me about, and that appointment took ANOTHER month to get. When i got that appointment asking what to do for my overseas screening she told me “i have no idea what that is” HUH? So now it’s turned into a four month ordeal. I had talked to someone at a different medical facility that was also Army in a completely different state and he told me it 100% did not make sense why she didn’t know what I was talking about. it’s apparently called something different for Army but it’s the same thing. even my explanation didn’t make sense to her. She didn’t even have the papers for it but this other facility in another state did? make it make sense. DOCTORS SHOULD NOT TAKE DIFFERENT BRANCH DEPENDENTS IF THEY DONT KNOW “DIFFERENT” TERMS. save yourself this four month long headache and go somewhere else.
