This is not my first rodeo with this massage envy. In fact they’ve had a few chances to win we over. But i will never step in this location again. I only go to this location for convenience, but I will more than happy to go out of my way for better service. For a full experience I’ll break my disappointments by atmosphere, front desk staff, service staff, and my appointments. ATMOSPHERE - the lobby and waiting room are standard and kept neat in clean as expected. However, the actual rooms where you get a massage are in need of remodel. The walls are dirty, cleaning supplies just sits on the floor, and staff do not have the appropriate cabinet space to do their jobs effectively. I’ve been to multiple MEs in the area and different states and have never seen a room so bare where the cleaning supplies just sits on the floor. That’s not an inviting space, when I’m coming to relax. FRONT DESK STAFF - Unfortunately, I believe depending on the customer’s race will reflect how they are treated by staff. For the times that I’ve been there I’ve gotten a less than lukewarm greeting. Even calling on the phone, staff give off the energy of being annoyed and bothered by you. It seems that they don’t know how to respectfully deal with situations that don’t go by their employee handbook. (see appointment #2 for clarification) SERVICE STAFF - Super friendly and inviting. The only problem I would say is that staff isn’t trained effectively across the board. There should be more training opportunities for them, so everyone is a great masseuse or aesthetician. It’s very annoying to find a great aesthetician, and then have to go to another location for a masseuse. Or that the masseuse that eventually gets recommended doesn’t even work there anymore. APPOINTMENTS #1 - I received the best facial. She went over my face care regiment, identified ways I could improve and more. I even fell asleep during my session. Everything was great, so I decided to book a massage appointment next. #2 - For my massage appointment, it was pretty standard in the beginning. When my masseuse came to get me, I did notice she wasn’t as put together, as I typically see. She pretty much just looked like she rolled out of bed and put on whatever was clean. Once I finally got settled, she asked me about pressure, I told her what I wanted and that’s definitely not what I received. The massage was HORRIBLE. She could not keep a consistent pressure, and I felt like the massage was a waste of my member credit. At the end, during checkout, the front desk asked me how was it, I explained that it was beyond subpar, I mentioned the issue with the massage and with the room. There were no apologies, no recommendations for a better masseuse, no nothing. But they were more than happy to chit chat with one another. I had to initiate the conversation to ask who was a better masseuse, and when trying to make an appointment the young lady asked for my CC. I replied back asking why since I didn’t need it to schedule it online nor did anyone call and ask for it. Her curt reply was that “I don’t know why that happened and someone should have called you.” I’ll attribute this to a glitch in the system, but that’s not how you talk to a customer. In all with this super long review, I highly suggest trying out another location for better service, atmosphere, and parking.

Whatever you do, do not sign a membership contract with them. It's impossible to get out of and definitely not worth the money. I'm certain I've lost money on the membership. They charge you fees to "freeze" your membership, even during COVID. There are also limitations to how many accrued massage credits can be transferred per month, and, of course they charge you to make the transfer. Even if you are wanting to use accrued massages yourself, they have such limited availability of therapists that it's difficult to schedule. I had to schedule massages over a month out to make sure I could use my credits! Finally, the portal is awful. I found it impossible to book through the portal and there's no way to see how many credits are on your account. I will say that the therapists I have seen there have been wonderful and lovely. The massages and facials have been great. This one star review is for the management and corporation of ME, which is just terrible. Finally, in talking to some of the people who work there, they have said that it's a terrible place to work. They're under paid and treated poorly. STAY AWAY AND USE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!
