Food was just okay I got the pulled chicken paid Xtra 1$ for coldslaw on the sandwich the sandwich was so dry the chicken wasn't tender the roll was unimpressive and so was the coldslaw. Coldslaw wasn't good and only a dab thank goodness I had to drench the sandwich in sauce. There was a fundraiser going on I purchased one of the signature drinks to participate it was excellent delicious. When I arrived there was a warm greeting from the Bartender . The atmosphere is like going to an old church Barbeque there is an old church pew upstairs I found that rather cute. I sat upstairs but also went outside very plain nothing spent for decor but I found this interesting and a really cool atmosphere if you just want to throw on something and grab a bite at a cookout. Had the food been good it would have made the decor more cool. I was expecting so much more from the food and was so disappointed. My waiter was excellent very friendly and attentive. In fairness I only had one thing from the menu perhaps other selections are better. I will give them another opportunity.

Attended a wedding here and had a great time! Loved the food and BBQ sauces, and the staff were so nice and accommodating. Also enjoyed the blue pit pictures and decor :) Will definitely be back next time I'm in Baltimore

Sweet Hot, Smoke, Coffee, and Mustard.
Baltimore City currently does not allow indoor/outdoor dining. However, when we are allowed to have guests we follow maximum capacity restrictions and guests per table restrictions, we make sure seats/tables are 6-ft apart, we have two HEPA filters upstairs, we do temperature checks on staff and guests, regular sanitizing, disinfecting and cleaning, regular handwashing, glove wearing and all staff always always wear masks. We also ask that guests wear masks when they are not eating or drinking. (We provide masks if necessary.) We have one-use menus and disposable glassware, cutlery, etc. All of our sauces are now single serve as well. We also have hand sanitizer for every table. While are we are only doing pickup/delivery we offer curbside pickup. Please let us know if you have more questions!
Street parking usually not a problem.
We have street parking on Union & Ash streets. It's usually pretty easy to find parking on either of those streets, but if you can't find any then the next block up, Buena Vista Ave, is another good option.
Yes, our kitchen closes at 10 pm Mon-Sat and at 9 pm on Sundays.
Most of our menu is actually gluten free. Our brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs and jackfruit are all gluten free. All of our sides are gluten free except the mac & cheese and cornbread. We have many guests who come regularly with Celiac disease. Thank you!
