I used to walk my dog here when there was the Algonquin grade school. But they tore that down years ago & it's now big open space with a wading pool & kids play area off 51st st. I bring my dog here occasionally because it's wide open space but it's not being kept up. The grounds are beautiful but the kids pool & the building are shut down. 😥

Very peaceful quiet small suburban park

What was once a nice local park is now a place with garbage, needles , loud music and idiots driving on the walking pathways. Can't even go in without your phone ready to dial 911. Nobody can even decide who's responsible for responding to a call for help from in the park.

Love the playground and that my child can play in the sand I used to go there as a child to the waiting pool and the park and had much fun and walking through the trails having my children experience nature
