Great place to go with kids

Always a hit with the kids. Unique playground and nature center with many animals that the friendly staff will get out and introduce. There's a boardwalk area around a limestone quarry with many snapping turtles. You can buy food and feed the turtles. There's also a limestone kiln that you can explore, with signs giving historical info.

This was a hit with my kids, ages 2 and 4. We liked the playground and the indoor space, which is just one room but has a lot of animals to see (frogs, turtles and other reptiles) and is free to visit. Their favorite part was feeding the turtles and fish in the quarry! The fish food is only 25 cents for a handful.

Such a great little gem. The staff were so kind and the grounds were great. Great spot for a picnic lunch and great for the kiddos!

It is free. There is a big spring with trout in it. Two fish per day limit. Also there is a nice little nature center, and a big lake behind it that has a large amount of big alligator snapping turtles and painted turtles and tons of bluegills to feed. Have fun!
