We have been coming for so many yrs I've lost track. It's a yearly adventure with our friends and our kids that are all now 16, 18 and 20. We all enjoy it very much. Such a safe, friendly, clean, well maintained camp. Love that it's a skip away from the beach and therefore not crazy hot 85° at most, with morning fog and chill as well as evening, sweats is more than enough. Lots of good family people with no riff raff. See yall next year.

We have been camping at Casini Ranch for over 25 years and sending friends to patronize the business. I realize with the cost of living rates need to increase but this is rediculous. If you have an emergency (put into the hospital they refuse to cancel your booking even with proof. They will keep the money then rent the same campsite for the same amount. You will be paying well over $500 for 3 nights for two people. Anyone joining you after that will cost you $20 a person per night. Then if you happen to have anyone you know who lives in the area they have to pay $7 per person for an hour visit. The sites are so close together you cannot enjoy an evening of semi private camping. Why do they feel like they must nickel and dime people who want to get out and enjoy nature. There are so many other camp grounds in the Monte Rio, Duncan Mills area that will appreciate your business and not try to squeeze every last cent out of you so you cannot take another vacation for a year. So disgusted on the lack of compassion for emergencies that may come up after the 14 day cancellation policy. Not everyone can predict a medical emergency. NEVER RECMENDING OR PATRONIZING THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!

My husband and I booked last minute (night before) and got a mini group tent site where the reservation was cancelled. From our arrival, check in person was very friendly. We were even able to order a bundle of wood from her and they delivered it! The site was nicely shaded and tucked away from the road for a good privacy. Close to bathrooms, beach and grass area and store. Bathrooms are clean. Store has everything you need. Beach has kayak, canoe, etc. rentals for affordable prices. Lastly, our car battery died and I found a nice staff member driving around in a golf cart who set out to find out about getting our battery charged. Ultimately another friendly staff member came to our site to jump it with his truck (typically you can borrow a battery charger from the store). Definitely have plans to come back with the whole family and maximize our next stay.

We've been coming here for over a decade. Not anymore. The prices are getting more and more outrageous. Once you add up the site rental, reservation fee, nightly fee for having a dog, and the local taxes.... You are paying over $100 per night. This is for a 30amp grass parking lot with a small concrete pad. Also, if you cancel, there is a fee (+ tax) to do so. Even if it is months in advance. If you are considering staying here, please check out their website and start adding up the costs. The cost for 5 nights, in September, was $585. To be paid in full when you make the reservation.

Barbless, no bait, Flys only. Can't catch salmon, steelhead. You can keep trout, bass, suckers..
Yes, but you should probably buy some before you arrive. The fire wood there is very expensive!
They have a water truck that keeps the dust down on the roads. You are camping, not in the Ritz-Carlton.
Check in is 2
69 & 70 hav
Yes you can but you’ll need to bring your own equipment including net, rackets and birdie.
It's a roped jungle gym type of play equipment
Well I think if the office isn't open at that time I'd check the store as well as need safe an call in prior
Yes we have several. 121 through 148 as well as 52A, 52B, 1B, 1C & 102C. If for some reason there aren’t any available we do have a honeywagon service to pump your tanks as well as an onsite RV dump station.
$200 per night
I was there the second week of June and it was 45-50 at night, 65-70 daytime high. Next week it's back into the 80's
Go to the reservation website for more details. I stayed one week in an rv.
Unsecured wifi is available. Advise no personal apps be used. Verizon link is weak in the park.
I dont think so but it would be worth a call to casini's to see if they would allow it
Yes
Casini Ranch also sells propane for $3.29/gallon
Yep great tent sites, some with electricity/water some without. No lake close but swimming, floating, etc in the river is great. People there are very helpful. Call ahead
It is near/next to a river. They have a beach area with river rock. You can swim, float, canoe etc.
I've only been there once, but live in the bay area still. I think May will be warm, (not like AZ, I suppose), but they don't let vehicles right next to the water. There are some spots pretty close though. Close enough to have plenty of fun and still be safe. Check out their online map. We're planning on returning in the spring too.
Everyone is back home now.
Easy River I know you can bring your own should not have any issue
Best policies to call them on the phone and ask for information because sometimes they change from year to year
That's where I think it's noon but you can you should call and find out the answer questions
We take our dog there all the time. Its _very_ dog friendly. However, keep dogs on leash except in the special dog play areas. They have a few dog play zones with agility course equipment! Nobody asks to see any kind of tags or records.
No, but there's a "beach" and a river, and it's very slow moving at that location.
7$ per person
speed limit 7 mph if you run over the annoying af geese (youll know what im talking about) extra points the campground itself is on a bend in the river-enclosed on three sides. Other than riding around the campground not really. Nothing like the campground in Howarth Park/Trione annadel state park
After 2 adults and 2 children and a car they start charging u more.
7$ per day per person (no matter how many cars im pretty sure) not sure if pets are ok.
Dont believe so - $7 a day. Wifi only at the barn (were saying they were going to fix this summer when i was there 4/22-24). Hammocks not ok (take down each morning or they get mad - tree health etc.)
Good luck on your surgery
It's paved ,but it's a rough ride
I donno how or why, but gps worked fine but phone reception was bad.
Most winters they're open. They don't have long term. I would recommend you call them to ask about long term. It is a very nice campground
