This is not a campground, this is a cesspool. Its location is literally the ONLY thing good about it. I wouldn't camp here again if THEY paid me to. Playground equipment was downright dangerous. The bathrooms were disgusting. We are avid campers and know we are camping, not expecting the Four Seasons by any means, but this place was just downright NASTY!

Booked reservations on January 10, 2020 for July vacation and received immediate confirmation back. We called the week prior to our visit to confirm everything was still set and was told yes and given the site number. We drove 6 hours to get there and when we arrived we were told that the campground had been shut down that day and noone could stay. They said they sent out emails and made phone calls but low and behold we never saw or heard anything from them. It was 7:30 pm at that time and we could find no availability on any other campgrounds. This was very poor customer service not to mention a hugh inconvenience to us. I feel the least they could have done was offered to put us up in a motel that night to allow us time to figure out what we were going to do now. No, we had to foot the $200 motel bill ourselves. The next morning we went to Myrtle Beach. Thanks but NO THANKS for nothing. My husband and I both were very upset with how this was handled. Don't trust them and for sure don't base your camping trip on them. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I would not call this place “family“ anything. First let me say the lady working the desk was VERY NICE and helpful. That being said, I have nothing positive to say about this place. It was dirty and unkept. Dumpsters were overflowing. People in the campground behind us did not stop there music and drunken conversation until roughly 3:00 am. I tried to call the office to complain but no answer and full mailbox. Pool and playground are not functional. The whole place smells like a toilet because of the “RV dumping area.” Stray cats roam the whole campground. I saw at least 5 different cats. It was however very cheap. Understand you get what you pay for and maybe something you did not pay for!

This place is not for the weak of heart. It is not a groomed campground, with many long term residents living there. While we had no issues with anyone there, it is very unkempt to include the bathrooms. Cats and cockroaches EVERYWHERE! The staff were nice. A good route if you are tight on money, but you want to go camping.

There are 10 wifi hotspots. Just connect to the strongest signal. No code needed. The very back tent area may not get a signal.
To the closer beaches, it would take around 10-15 minutes with normal traffic.
Various based on the week of Summer it is if I'm not mistaken it's about 25 or $26 a night
Around 25 a night
