It was with great anticipation that I returned to the newly renovated Cinema Arts Center in Huntington after the long 2 plus year shutdown due to Covid. I brought my my nephew with me and we were both very impressed with the renovations made to both the theater and the parking areas. It was supposed to be a fun night with a double feature of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2&3 playing back to back. My Nephew and I never made it to the second movie due to countless technical difficulties and late starting times. I can understand some minor issues and difficulties can occur from time to time, but what happened last night was ridiculous and unprofessional. From the late starting times to the multiple film projector malfunctions and poor sound quality the entire movie screening experience was ruined and frankly unacceptable!!!! While I’m appreciative of the Cinema Arts Center continuing commitment to keep the retro horror film community alive with an outlet for fans of the genre to get together and have the opportunity to watch these classics on the big screen. I’m also a paying customer expecting a professional screening experience of these films that I can easily watch at home for free and on Friday night that just didn’t happen. The Management and staff seem like good and caring people with the best of intentions of making the movie screening experience a fun and positive one, but something was very off last night and these miscues can’t continue to happen in the future. I know they can and will do better, best of luck with your fall film feature lineup.

I am very pleased this excellent place is open again. Go see an independent film there as soon as possible.

We are looking into it, but haven't booked it at this time.
Visit their website for that information.
While we were closed for COVID, there was a roof leak in our building which caused extensive damage. We have been communicating with our members and patrons throughout this terrible situation. We are very nearly done with our repairs and renovation. We are so grateful that so many members of our community have continued to support us, to attend our online programs, and to attend the outdoor in-person programs we have presented over the last two years. You can follow our progress at www.cinemaartscentre.org.
Hi Julie - sorry I just saw this now. We did extend memberships, adding one day for each day a membership was paid during our closure when we reopened at the beginning of May.
Yessssssssss
Call the Cinema Arts directly for this information.
Usually around a half hour before show time
The Corpse Bride starts at 11am tomorrow
There's nothing like that listed in the guide. Maybe call them or check the website.
That sucks check in setting
We make the decisions week to week. The Friday through Thursday schedule is usually up on the website by Wednesday. It depends on how the films are performing, what films we are trying to move in, and whether we have made a particular commitment to the distributor.
About 6:35 with previews
Northport has one not that far away
Give the ticket office a call, they have a recorded announcement.

Call the Cinema Arts Center to find out or go to their website
