Geitner Park is a great park to check out has off street parking and restrooms. The trails are great for walking, running, and riding bicycles. And very close to Lake Hickory.

Great place to have a picnic near the lake. Paved walking paths. Bathrooms continue to be under construction but they have porta potties available.

Family friendly hiking and boating, but unfortunately, a bit dirty. Trash was floating in the water near the coves and graffiti on the rocks. Could be so beautiful, but people suck!

Great paved walking path with numerous hiking and biking trails. Approx 3 miles out and back. Restroom is currently closed on the lake end of trail but there are restrooms on the tennis court side.
