DANGER. DANGER. DANGER. If you want economic stability, peaceful work environment, equity and job satisfaction, I warn you, DO NOT work at Desert Cove in Chandler. The current DON will promote and give you a raise if you can gossip and be a tale bearer. It's not a healthy place to work. Your paycheck or rate is revealed to everyone. The DON is the most sadistic entity in my experience. She also has a dummy ADON. When you get laurels from patients and family members, they don't acknowledge you. If a patient complains about you even without any validation, you're guilty than guilt. The DON is young and only likes to be rated as good. She doesn't welcome any suggestions. No respect for her subordinates. She has no sense for sense. This is not to discredit the ownership. I believe the company is great but they just hired the wrong people for this entire facility. Wrong leadership, wrong staffing. Very unprofessional set of people that munch on gossip and hearsay. The company should investigate everything they do at this facility to understand why the turnover is very high. This deplorable entity got rid of so many good and efficient workers that they now offer a lot of money to hire new people. Up to $10,000 during the peak of the pandemic. Now reduced to $5,000 hiring bonus. If I own Desert Cove and hell, I will rent this place out and live in hell. Need I say more about Desert Cove?

My son was at Desert Cove for over 2 months. The staffing was excellent and attentive to his needs. The therapy department was wonderful ! When he arrived at Desert Cove he was in a wheel chair by the time he was discharged they had him walking with a straight cane. I would highly recommend this Nursing facility.

what can i say about the place i really loved being there the staff was really top notch & took really good care of me the theripy was awsome sam carlie jason robin kyle megan u all were amazing i love u guys for giving me the very best care cna's nursing all were so very loving & cared about my well being thx u all

Not enough staff to properly take care of patients. Can't get through on phone. Covid ward: they don't have a treatment set up for covid patients I was shocked to hear. Paxlovid and monoclonal pk is what should be used for elderly or high risk patients.
