I’ve lived here almost 4 years, and I love it! Lakewood on the Trail is a beautiful little oasis right in the heart of Dallas. The office staff is friendly and understanding, and maintenance works very hard to address my issues. I especially love that my son can walk to school (Long AND Woodrow), safely. We are an active family and chose this location because of the Santa Fe Trail access that leads to White Rock Lake or Deep Ellum, and the super close proximity to my son’s schools. Last but not least…the view winding down Brookside Drive, next to the Lakewood Country Club, on your way home…is breathtaking! It’s a very peaceful place to live. The value and quality of this property is the best in East Dallas!

Just moved here from Deep Ellum and I’m very happy! I absolutely love the maintenance staff here; they are super quick to respond and help with anything you might need. The property itself is gorgeous and feels significantly safer than where I was previously. Being so close to the Santa Fe Trail is great for getting outdoors and staying active. I love my space and it feels very cozy. When I originally moved here, I was in a loft style apartment on the 2nd and 3rd story. However, there was no fan in the bedroom/ top floor and it would easily get up to 83F, even after I purchased an additional fan, kept the blinds closed constantly, and with the AC running constantly. (It was even worse when I was cooking, don’t get me started). At times, I felt like I was brushed off or dismissed by staff when I would tell them it was really uncomfortably hot, but because it was within 30 days of my initial move in, I was able to use the “100% Happy in Your Space” clause and move to a new unit, which I am much happier with. However, because of the timing, I am paying a higher rent for a smaller apartment. But I’m grateful to be somewhere where I feel safe! Okay, I'm updating my review from a few months ago. New management took over, including the most awesome guy ever named Cole, who is SO HELPFUL! Like seriously, Cole followed up with me almost immediately after talking with him. Cole has been super easy to talk to and makes me feel like he actually cares. Jay is one of the other managers there and she has always been really friendly to me! I can't wait to renew my lease here! :)

1000/10 I absolutely love my apartment and the staff so much from the leasing office to maintenance. Cole the Ast. Community Director truly cares and you can totally feel the vibe since the new management came in. Kay & David thank you too. Truly cannot wait to continue to live here for the next few years. <3

Absolutely beautiful community! I recently toured here in search of a home for my elderly parents and every member of the staff that I encountered made me feel welcome and 100% comfortable. The property is nestled away in a gorgeous neighborhood but located so conveniently to so many things; might I mention in one of the greatest neighborhoods in Dallas. The apartments I toured were so unique and the greenery surrounding it really was the icing on the cake! You can tell that the entire staff who works here truly cares about the community and the happiness of their residents. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful home hidden away from all of the hustle and bustle of Dallas.
