yes it is very pet friendly unless your dog doesn't like water at all. there were several dogs on the trail

Nope. Just show up & hope no one else is there. There are 2 or 3 spots, depending on how big your tents are.

Its like 12 feet from the main trail. Just a primitive campsite. You would need to backpack in. Ive never seen anyone actually camping there. Seems more like a spot you go to drink beers in high school.
