Beautiful drive thru to get that old florida feel. Lots of birds, and an occasional alligator. Fishing and crabbing too.

The Ormond Scenic Loop was a wonderful little drive through the Florida landscape. The only problem was figuring out where to go. I attached two pictures that helped us. Hopefully, it will save you time. Roll down the windows and enjoy this hidden gem of Florida while it lasts. This made me want to grab the kayak and explore the estuary. So peaceful! Enjoy!

This slice or three of heaven is best greeted with an open sunroof and a cruise control set at lest 5mph lower than the posted. Swoon!

There is none. It's a public road.

Is there a bike trail or do bikes share the road?

There should be both. Bikes share the road through the loop, and I believe there is a trail in the Tomoka State Park proper.

who are the photographers on the scenic loop?

I see them every year. They usually have advertising for web pages and I think they sell the pics they get of people riding. Not sure...but thats my guess.

What is the speed limit of the Ormond Beach loop and trail? I’d like to bike it if it seems safe.

30-45 mph. There is no shoulder in most places.

Nature! Live Oaks w tresses of moss creating archways over the shaded roadway. Old Florida waterways and wetlands, serene with herons , storks, egrets Sun sparkling on the water. Fishermen, kayakers... If you want civilization, you can exit onto A1A or Beach Street to browze boutique shoppes and water view restaurants. Theres also the home of the Tortugas the local minors Baseball Team . Hit your gps and you will find many places to visit. Just a touch off the path in Ormond beach there are thrift and antique shops. Just South is Daytona Beach with famous Main Street and Boardwalk
