When it comes to good eating, Indian cuisine is always on the top of my list. Indian food is not only healthy but so delicious! Here at Punjabi Dhabba restaurant in Alvord, Tx. You’re going to have outstanding service, great and friendly people, delicious food! And please do not forget the sweets for dessert. Anyone traveling through Texas 287 north of Decatur must stop here, I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed, I will definitely be back 🤠

Very nice experience, something different and only an hr away for me.. food was reasonable with lots of onion and green chilly chutney.. and ta-dah! BYOB.

I am surprised to see average 3 stars rating. Self service, you have to find and clean table yourself. No menu cards, just main menu board at entrance. First two choices I asked were out off. Food served in paper plates and plastic containers. No free water. Taste is not authentic. I ordered butter chickens, it was not even close to it. Overall very bad experience.

A tad bit unmanaged, we got a different dish than ordered but had no stamina to go back in line and argue and get another one. There was only one counter and that was slow as well. Food took time to arrive … food was tasty so that gets 3 more points. Need to be cleaner for outside seating. I will probably go get a takeout and eat at home as food is delicious!

There is no way to tell what you have to order, we drive by several times a week and would love to try it BUT we have no idea what you have to order.
The place is really good. The tables are placed at distance and people wear mask all the time .
I totally agree with Swarna's comments.
A lot of places that claim to be halal are not really halal. Stop kidding yourself. Most of them buy the same meat from restaraunt depo. Just say Bismillah and eat it. One should focus on being a better person overall rather than just be concerned about hslal food. I have seen a lot of ppl that earn haram snd do haram but are extremely keen to eat halal like as if just eating halal is going to take one to heaven and everything else doesent count.
They are open everyday for lunch and dinner The food is great.
I don't work there. Sorry
