Loved every day and minute there. We didn't want to leave. We love everyone that we met. Got to get back quick. Finally was able to get back out there this memorial day weekend. But what use to be a friendly place turned out not to be anymore. Was having a good time..when some man suddenly told me that I would have to leave or he would call the police. No explanation at all? I just left...will not ever go back again..Promise

Bluebonnet nudist park is our favorite nudist resort in the DFW area, just a 40 minute drive north of the metroplex. We have been visiting a few times each year since 2016. Bluebonnet is however definitely more of a campground compared to to true resorts like those outside of the US, or in Florida and California. Most of the people who you will meet are the full-time members and residents of Bluebonnet. We have seen visitors of all ages from families with children, to young adults, to older adults. The busiest days are definitely Saturdays and Sundays during the warmer months, holiday weekends, and special event weekends. On weekdays and slower weekends we have at times had the amenities all to ourselves. For a smaller nudist resort, Bluebonnet certainly does have plenty of amenities for an enjoyable day or weekend. There are 2 pools, a covered and screened-in hot tub (our favorite spot), a recently rebuilt sauna, a cozy clubhouse, tennis courts, and walking trails. There are also ample amounts of both sunny spots and shady spots. The only negatives would be that it can be at times difficult to reach the main office since it is not staffed at all times which on arrival can be tricky since you need to call when you are at the gate to be let in but the cellular reception isn’t the best at the entrance. Other than that unfortunately there is no restaurant, snack bar, or bar. However you are welcome to BYOB and food. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

I have visited Bluebonnet a couple times and really enjoy it. The people are all very friendly and welcoming. The pools are nice as are the spa and sauna. I really enjoyed the hiking trails as well. I hope to be able to visit again during the summer. Most of my visits have been on the shoulder seasons. I have not camped or stayed in a rental cabin... yet.

My wife and I had talked for years about going to a nudist resort (neither of us had ever done anything like this before... we were "cherries")... but never got around to actually doing it. That all changed a few weeks ago when our daughter was away from home, visiting family on the east coast. After doing some internet research and placing a few phone calls, I decided we would give Bluebonnet a try. My wife and I could not be happier with that decision. We had the most wonderful and relaxing weekend of all time. Bluebonnet is a beautiful little (66 acres)resort with all the amenities you could ask for. And most important of all were the friendly people that we met there. At no time were we ever made to feel like "outsiders" or treated like "strangers" at the resort. The members of Bluebonnet went out of their way to introduce themselves and to inquire if we needed anything to make our stay more enjoyable. My wife and I were so impressed that we returned the following weekend (this time with our 12 year old daughter!) and at the end of the weekend became Bluebonnet members ourselves.

I have only been out to Bluebonnet Nudist Park a few times with my baby sister n my brother in law because our Dad lives there from time to time. I know there are several people whom live there year around. So i assume they have their trailer houses there permanently.
You have to be 18 unless accompanied by your parent.
On Sept. 16 they're having the bare as you dare 5k race. I'm not sure what they will have on Friday. You can register for the race on the 16th. I hope this helps.
